Martin Luther King Jr quote
The church must be reminded that it is not the master or the servant of the state, but rather the conscience of the state. It must be the guide and the critic of the state, and never its tool. If the church does not recapture its prophetic zeal, it will become an irrelevant social club without moral or spiritual authority

i agree! if we adhere to the kingdom mandate to love (in His love) then we'll be the conscience and live the life Jesus lived while on the earth. we will not only cause to bring forth for His glory, but new life will overtake the dead and dying world and religion will no longer be a chain around the church. the church (bride) will be on the streets everywhere in daily life, simply living outside of the walls of religion, being the example in the market place and elsewhere. love will compel the unyielded and ignorant into a destiny and life they have now known by the sheer and transparent examples we, of the kingdom, re-present to the world around us in simple and pure life. as we live in this world and embrace His way, we'll expose the deception and lie of the enemy by revealing our King in His undying love and value. we can and will advance His kingdom for all who will receive His salvation. a dying world needs a king, not a president or premier or dictator. we know the King. we must be His and bring life into this world. if we're not doing that, we're probably mistaken about being His. we've got to know the One we claim as Lord. don't we?
