This is a picture of Alex with Taengkwa. Taengkwa is a girl that is very special to us. She was born in Thailand and is blind. We met her a year ago when her parents, who attend our church, adopted her. She is an amazing girl with a great personality.
The most amazing thing about Taengkwa is that she is an overcomer. She lets nothing stop her and has no fears. She is also very funny.
Taengkwa has taught me a lot about life and about faith. She has taught me that nothing should stop us in this life from being who God created us to be. I am very glad that we have had the opportunity to meet such a person. I am glad for the things I learn from a child from so far away and will always remember the things that she has taught me.
